Parrish's Chemical Food pharmacy pot - Marson & Sons
An early 20thC white ironstone apothecary pot, complete with the rare original lid and labels for 'Parrish's Chemical Food - or compound syrup of phosphates of iron, sodium and calcium'.
In addition to the paper name flash label on the lid, the body of the pot has a fully wrapped paper label advertising the contents which was "Prepared from the formula of the late Professor Edward Parrish". The opposing side reads:
An excellent tonic for women and children in aneamia, &c.
Dose - One to two tea-spoonfuls in a little water

Condition:
Along with glaze crazing and age related wear, there are some old chips on the foot, and also on the rim but these are covered when lidded. The label is in nice condition.
