A very rare antique French ironstone confiture pot, decorated with a wonderful polychrome transfer for D. Couté of Paris.

The scarce larger variation of this pot with a stunning pink and green floral transfer. The underside is marked with the scrolling maker's transfer from Luneville, France.

Condition:
There are three hairlines in the rim, along with a glazed over chip fault in the rim, but this has been there since manufacture.
Stained and crazed commensurate with age, but still displays very nicely and is a rare pot.
