Green almond shaving cream lid - Army & Navy Co-Op
A Victorian ironstone advertising pot lid for Almond Shaving Cream, from the Army & Navy Co-Operative society limited. A very decorative lid, with bold stylised arched typography and a central pictorial of the Army & Navy servicemen trademark.
A scarce lid in green transfer, which has been matched with a base for display and priced to reflect the condition.

4cm tall when lidded
Condition:
Staining, crazing and wear is present.
There is a chip on the top rim, with four further chips on the flange.
The matched base has a chip on the shoulder and the rim, but these are not really seen when lidded.
