Victorian ironstone Lion jelly mould
An antique white ironstone jelly mould, modelled to create an oval fluted jelly or terrine topped with the motif of a recumbent lion. An early example, which sits at a slight angle to the rim, where the extra space is needed to accommodate the lions expressive face and head.

Condition:
There is an old chip on the rim and a small bruise crack, along with age related staining and crazing.
