A Cobalt antiseptic pharmacy glass
Regular price £120
A cobalt blue Antiseptic vase, used to disinfect apparatus and equipment in pharmacies and operating theaters.
Free blown, with a flared chamfer ground lip and hand painted red lettering across the body - 'Antiseptic'. Late 19th/early 20th century.
132mm tall (5-3/16")
330mm outside of rim diameter (4")
64mm base diameter (2-1/2")
Sadly, there is one small chip on the outside of the rim, measuring approx 5mm x 3mm. This could possibly be restored, or even ground out, but the glass is in otherwise perfect condition. There is a small cooling bubble in the glass next to the chip (pictured).
