A lovely little French toleware tin bucket for Plum Jam. Early 20th century, decorated across the front with a colourful selection of fruit and topped with a banner reading 'Confitures Prunier Fres - Garanties pur sucre'.
The rest of the bucket is decorated with monochrome gold cherries on black, the tare weight displayed in a strip up the back side. The original swing handle is intact, as is an original retailers label across the bottom of the face of the bucket.

Original condition with some wear, small light denting and insignificant surface scratches. The label across the bottom has some light degradation commensurate with age.
