A finely made white ironstone pottery beaker, decorated with a black transfer pictorial of a dairy cow holding a 'New Milk' pail in her mouth.

A rare and early example, with a simple scratch moulding around the rim and the 'Dairy Supply co ltd. London, W.C.' mark on the base.

76mm rim diameter (3")

 

Professional restoration to the back of the beaker (please enquire for more details). Some rusty glaze striations in the neck of the cow pictorial, and also some minor glaze crazing elsewhere.
