A white ironstone pottery cream pail, with applied handles and stylised 'Cream' lettering in under-glaze black transfer print.
A diminutive example of these early 20th century dairy pails, with two larger variations available and pictured for comparison.

Professionally restored but otherwise in a very good, clean condition with minimal staining. Some glaze crazing and very light wear. Small, old star crack in the underside of the foot but does not permeate through to the inside.
Restoration - 2 small hairline's, one in the front and one in the back.
