Corinthian plaster capitals
Regular price £275
A diminutive pair of Roman Corinthian plaster capitals. Early - mid 19thC.
In a manner very typical of the Georgian classical Neo Renaissance period, with scrolling acanthus leaves on an architectural half square pillar design (which are actually relatively flat and could be applied to narrow wall pillars).
Showing pleasing signs of their age, the attractive wear, patination and peeling of 200 years really adds to the decorative distressed look of Renaissance Revival architecture.
