Decorated across the face with the famous bold Grimwade green transfer, the foot of the pot is also stamped with a roundel advertising the full range of 'The "Grimwade" Hooped Household Jars'.

The underside of the lid features another green under-glaze transfer roundel, this time advertising the Grimwade patent quick-cooker bowl with a pictorial cross section - "Excellent for light puddings or stews".
