Three early 20thC milk boilers, made of white ironstone pottery and each marked with an individual green transfer.

Two have back stamp marks reading - 'The Davis Milk Boiler, this side up, manufactured in England under Leyfields patent 205434', one of which also has an advertising mark for Chas F. Frowds dairies, "The best of milk".

The third has green transfer "This side up" typography and the castle potters mark for New Hall, Hanley, Staffordshire, England.

Available individually for £25.00 each.

Light green Davis:

9.2cm Diameter (3-5/8")

1.6cm Thick (5/8")

Glaze crazing and wear. The edge has a slight manufacturing indent/impression but is not damage.

 

Dark green Davis:

8.9cm Diameter (3-1/2")

1.6cm Thick (5/8")

Slight usage wear but no damage.

 

New Hall:

9.2cm Diameter (3-5/8")

1.3cm Thick (1/2")

Glaze crazing and usage wear, but no damage.
