A large banded white ironstone cream jug, marked on the belly under the spout with an under-glaze green transfer Royal Cypher for King George VI, suggesting this Jug was originally produced for one of the Royal household kitchens in the second quarter of the 20th century. The foot is marked with the Mintons Royal appointment makers transfer (also in green) that was used from 1912 - 1950.

Light yellowish fat stain to the right of the spout, running down slightly next to the cypher. Otherwise perfect with minimal wear and no damage or restoration. Some small manufacturing firing marks, including one where the spout has been applied to the rim, but is original and has been there since it was made.
