Port Cellar labels
Regular price £65
Creamware 'Port' cellar labels, made of glazed white earthenware pottery with bold black under-glaze lettering.
Early 20th century, purchased as a collection along with seven 'Sherry' & two 'Claret' - available separately.
One label has smudged pencil writing to the reverse, detailing a 1902 vintage port.
1 x Perfect condition - £65.00
1 x Small shoulder hairline crack & pencil on reverse - £30.00
Approx 14.2cm wide (5-5/8") x 8cm (3-1/8")
Very good original condition with some insignificant glaze crazing/striations commensurate with age. One label has a small hairline in the right shoulder, with some smudged pencil writing on the reverse, but does not overly detract from the tag.
