A bright and colourful Belgian enamel sign for Solo Margarine, produced by a Brussels manufacturer.

With a two tone black & blue ground that is splashing together, the bold red lettering and pictorial packet of margarine making a striking and stylish piece of mid century advertising.

990mm (39") x 390mm (15-3/8")

Very good original condition with a lovely sheen and no restoration or repairs. Some shot chipping on the bottom right corner, light chipping and losses on the other 3 corners, as well as 3 or four other spots around the edge of the sign. The mounting corner brackets have rusted.
