A large Victorian oval eared platter, heavily made of white ironstone pottery and elaborately decorated with under-glaze blue transfer in the manner of Delftware. Circa 1820.
Made by Spode with their embossed makers mark & pattern number 11 to the reverse, complete with beautifully made original period soldered ironwork on the back to hang and display.

Very good original condition with minimal wear and complete with the original ironwork to the reverse.
